Today’s session definitely hit the spot, I decided to follow the same pattern as I did with the previous training day and do a high rep set as my final set of each exercise.
My shoulders are still on fire an hour+ after training!
Here are the details of today’s work.
45lbs(bar) x10 x1, 115lbs x5 x1, 135lbs x5 x1, 155lbs x5 x2, 160lbs x5 x1 (2 solid, 3 w/spotter) Booyah to the PR!
High Rep Set: 115lbs x14 x1 (13 solid, 1spot/fail)
I am very glad to have received the assistance of one of the trainers on staff today. I had him spot me for the high rep set and the PR set. Excited to see the growth I’ve made in strength gains over the last month. Might not be much to some, but it makes all the difference to me.
45lbs(bar) x10 x1, 65lbs x5 x1, 75lbs x5 x2, 85lbs – FAIL – no reps, I was fried. Attempted the first rep and failed to move it past a few inches.
High Rep Set: 55lbs x10 x1
Finishing Touches: Pushups x10 x1
Stick a fork in me, I am done!
